<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical method and apparatus for manufacturing a natural gas hydrate, which can realize the effective utilization of a BOG by using an unused energy of LNG. <P>SOLUTION: A boil-off gas evaporated in a liquefied natural gas storage tank 1 is forcedly filled into a hydrate forming tower 11 by an ejector 12 driven by a high-pressure natural gas (b) obtained by heating a liquefied natural gas, while at the same time water (c) is injected into the tower 11 to form a natural gas hydrate (d) comprising a hydrate of the water (c), the boil-off gas and the natural gas serving to drive the ejector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
