PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power control device of a computing element suitable for saving electric power.

SOLUTION: When imparting MPEG data, a CPU 30 starts decoding of the MPEG data. In the decoding of the MPEG data, decoding of animation data 304 and decoding of music data 306 are respectively independently executed. In the decoding of the MPEG data, a clock frequency of the CPU 30 is adjusted so as to reduce electric power consumption of the CPU 30 on the basis of the data length Lv and La of an arithmetic operation unit in a period for the CPU 30 to perform an arithmetic operation to data of the arithmetic operation unit with respective arithmetic operation units included in the MPEG data.
