<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buried object displaying structure for reliably displaying the position of a buried object even in a construction job site such as an improved land where vehicles are frequently travelling, and bulldozers, etc., excavates the ground, and also to provide a display tool therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A display means 4 for displaying the position of the buried object G is buried to be visually recognized from a ground surface B in a display structure. The display means 4 has a display structure which is buried along the direction of depth from the ground surface B to a place near the buried object G, which is removable by excavation through the use of an excavator in the middle part of the depth direction, and which is identifiable from peripheral soil. The display tool 1 buried to display the position of the buried object G consists of a long cylindrical body 2; and a filler 4 which is stored in the cylindrical body 2 and distinguishable from the soil.
