PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an unpacking and setting system for a rolled paper package, capable of automating the whole step from the step of taking rolled paper out of the rolled paper package up to the step of obtaining it in the state that it can be set to a rotary press, reducing the length of the whole step, and markedly improving an operational efficiency. SOLUTION: The unpacking and setting system 1 for a rolled paper package has a roll holding unit 3, a separation unit 4, a recovery unit 6 for side face packing paper, a recovery unit 7 for mirror-finished packing paper, and an end handling unit 9.
