METHOD FOR PREVENTING ADHESION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing that a polymer adheres to a polymerization vessel in performing an emulsion polymerization. SOLUTION: This method for preventing the adhesion of the polymer to the polymerization vessel is characterized by performing a buffing and an electrolytic machining on the inner wall surface of the polymerization vessel used for the emulsion polymerization to make 0.5-1.2μm Rmax at the inner wall surface. A buff used for the buffing is preferably of a No.50-800 grade. The method is especially preferably used in the emulsion polymerization for producing a rubbery polymer or a graft copolymer containing the rubbery polymer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
