PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wind pressure loads applied to a cable and to increase the tension characteristics of the cable. SOLUTION: For an optical fiber drop cable 1, a long-length optical element part 7 for which a coated optical fiber 5 and a first tension member 13 parallelly arranged near the coated optical fiber 5 are covered with a cable sheath 3 and a long-length cable supporting line part 11 for which a second tension member 17 is covered with a sheath 19 are fixed parallelly to each other. Further, since one first tension member 13 is arranged at a position farther than the coated optical fiber 5 viewing from the side of the cable supporting line part 11, even when the size of the first tension member 13 is increased and strength is secured, the dimension on a long diameter side of the cable 1 is reduced and the wind pressure loads are suppressed to be small.
