PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main cock arranging construction for heating equipment allowing a user in a standing comfortable posture to easily open or close a gas main cock, and improved in usability, wherein failure to close the main cock is effectively prevented, and piping connection is made without requiring a changing work of primary piping when a built-in type oven or the like is installed later. SOLUTION: The main cock arranging construction for the heating equipment is characterized in that a piping connection 10A for the built-in type heating equipment 3 is disposed on a back side of the heating equipment 10 and is connected in communication to the primary piping 9, the gas main cock 15 is disposed on the back side of the heating equipment 10 and is constructed to allow opening and closing of the main cock 15 from a top plate 11 side, and a gas flow passage 28 from the main cock 15 to a gas burner side is formed with a gas branch port 24 connectable to the built-in type oven 20.
