PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make such a control that oxygen gas of a required concentration is injected at required timing and a required amount of oxygen gas can be injected in response to changes in conditions such as seasonal, time, weather if any of these should occur. SOLUTION: In a method for restricting generation of hydrogen sulfide in a sewage force-feed pipe by injecting oxygen gas in force-feed sewage in interlocking with operation of a force-feed pump, liquid surface level in a sewage storage tank is measured; based on operation start time of the force-feed pump from the measured results of the liquid surface level inside the sewage storage tank, a time a predetermined time before the operation start time of the force-feed pump is set as an operation start time of oxygen generating equipment. The oxygen generating equipment is started when the operation start time comes, and the oxygen gas of a predetermined concentration is injected in the sewage at the operation start of the force-feed pump.
