A cell support (40) with a substrate (10) is disclosed, on which an adherent structure (20) is formed which comprises adherent regions (12) with an increased adherence for biological material, in particular biological cells, cell components and/or biologically active macromolecules, which are separated from each other by means of non-adherent regions (13). The substrate (10) is made from a transparent polymer film with an attenuated adherence to biological material and the surface (11) of which is chemically and/or structurally modified in the adherent regions (12). The surface (11) of the polymer film is exposed in unmodified form in the non-adherent regions (13) of the surface (11) and the polymer film is made from a polymer from the group of polyolefins, in particular fluorinated polyolefins, polyhydroxyethylenemethacrylate, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, collagen, fibrin, fibronectin, and polysaccharides. |
