<p>A phosphor thin film realizing a luminescence device excellent in response, good in color purity, and capable of realizing high luminance emission and an EL panel having the same are disclosed. An EL panel (104) provided with a phosphor thin film of the invention comprises an EL element in which a lower electrode (3a), an insulating layer (4), an EL phosphor multilayer thin film (70), and an upper electrode (3b) are formed in this order over a substrate (2) in a multilayer structure. The EL phosphor multilayer thin film (70) is composed of a phosphor thin film (51) made of a matrix material substantially comprising magnesium gallade doped with, e.g., a rare-earth element, buffer thin films (52a, 52b) formed on both sides of the phosphor thin film (51), and electron injection thin films (53a, 53b) on both sides of the three layers.</p> |
