The weather protection system comprises a pipe-shaped pole stand (1) with an umbrella support (3) clamped or firmly mounted upon it. There are regularly spaced goitres (4) about the pole base (2) that form a cylindrical free chamber (5) about the pole stand. There is also an umbrella covering (6) that is ring-shaped and fixed to the goitres on the umbrella support. A ventilator or an air-stream driven ventilator cycle wheel (7) is located in a hollow shaft (8) in the cylindrical chamber and fixed with a clip (9). The umbrella (11) is mounted on the point of the pole stand and is adjustable in height and is protected against rotation by means of a holder clip (12). The diameter of the umbrella covering is greater than that of the cylindrical chamber. Fixture of the umbrella covering on the outer part of the goitres may be achieved via an elastic ring.
