<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal mechanism, an optical scanner, and an image forming device for improving difficulty in affixing a seal member and inefficiency in lank layout of a seal member without impairing an original dust-proof function of the seal mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: The seal mechanism comprises a plurality of seal members 18a-18h, and the seal member 18a-18h have connection parts 30-45 on both ends. The connection parts of the seal members parallel to each other are combined with each other, and held between a cover 17 and a housing 11 while compressed and deformed.
