<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely display relevant guidance information with a place of departure of a trip, a transit place, and a destination, etc., on a personal digital assistant carried by a tourist. <P>SOLUTION: This depo guidance information system has a personal digital assistant 10 inputting the movement information of an itinerary, a base station 20 relaying the movement information and detecting the position information of the personal digital assistant in moving, an exchanger 30 receiving the movement information from the base station and registering it into a service server, receiving the position information from the base station and acquiring the guidance information of a relevant means of transportation from the service server when it is in an area included in the movement information, and transmitting the guidance information to the personal digital assistant, and a service server 40 extracting an area where a tourist should be notified of the guidance information based on the movement information and notifying it to the exchanger, and sending out the relevant guidance information when the exchanger requires the guidance information on a means of transportation relevant to the area information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
