PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting target for distance measurement which is attached easily and whose danger is small when it is dropped. SOLUTION: A target base 2 in the reflecting target 1 for distance measurement is formed of foamed styrene, and a part of a rectangular parallelepiped is cut at 45°so as to form a target face 3. A retroreflective sheet 4 is pasted on the target face 3. A sheet magnet 6 is embedded in a mounting face 5. A cross mark 7 whose point of intersection indicates a center-of-gravity position on the retroreflective sheet 4 is marked off on the target face 3, and alignment marks 8 are formed in positions in points of intersection of perpendicular projections to the mounting face 5 of the cross mark 7 with edges on the mounting face 5.
