PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic refrigerator capable of contributing energy saving. SOLUTION: Both of a refrigerating part drive motor 23 and a compressor drive motor 12 are driven and controlled by control frequency outputted by an inverter 50. Since the refrigerating part drive motor 23 and the compressor drive motor 12 are controlled at optimum rotating speed suitable for refrigerating load by the inverter 50, the cryogenic refrigerator doesn't consume wasteful energy and can contribute energy saving better.
