PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling performance. SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises an indoor unit having an indoor heat exchanger for circulating a refrigerant and an indoor fan for ventilating air to the indoor heat exchanger, a displacement controllable compressor 15 for compressing the refrigerant, a control unit 17 for controlling the compressor 15, an outdoor heat exchanger 13 for circulating the refrigerant, and an outdoor unit 1 having an outdoor fan 11 for ventilating air to a heat slinger 23 provided on the outdoor heat exchanger and the control device 17. The air conditioner generates a refrigerating cycle for circulating the refrigerant in the indoor unit and the outdoor unit 1, and increases a rotation speed R of the outdoor fan 11 according to a temperature increase in the control device 17, thereby improving the cooling performance.
