PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and method for installing decorating members on the exterior wall part of a building whereby the decorating members can be easily installed when fixed to the decorated portion of the exterior wall surface of the building having a siding wall surface or a mortar wall surface, etc. SOLUTION: In the structure for installing the decorating members on the exterior wall part of a building, a number of clamps each having a bottom plate are fixed in a line to the decorated portion of the exterior wall part and fitting grooves in the decorating members are locked to the bottom plates of the clamps, whereby the decorating members are fixed to the exterior wall part while being aligned and suspended.
