PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor component and a floor using the same, having sufficient strength so that a floor plate end part is not damaged even when the thin floor plate for remaking is used in remaking the floor, being capable of easily and surely joining and connecting the floor plates to each other without using an adhesive, nails, staples and the like, free from clearance gap, warping and difference in level after execution, and easily separated to be removed in remaking the floor in future. SOLUTION: This floor component comprises a floor plate having a recessed part on its side face, and a locking member having inverted hook-shaped locking parts on its both ends and inserted between its recessed part and a recessed part of an adjacent floor plate to connect the floor plates.
