PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo handling device for containers capable of enhancing the safety and efficiency in the cargo handling operations for containers. SOLUTION: The cargo handling device to load or unload a container 14 in/from a ship 18 using a container crane 1 installed at a quay 2 is to place the container 14 once on a provisionally placing table 8.
