The user (7) of a home trainer like a tread mill, a stepper or similar device can be protected from falling and getting injured by a system of straps (4). One of the straps is guided around the waist (5) while two other straps are led around the upper area of the thighs (9) being fixed with their upper ends to the waist belt (5). The system (4) can be secured to a stationary part (2, 3) of the exercising device.
