The roof tile (1) has a base body (10), a side grooving (20) for the guiding of water, and a top grooving (30). A means of deflection are provided to direct water from the side grooving of a first tile (1') into the top grooving of second roof tile beneath it. The top grooving also has guiding means (31) in order to guide the water from the top grooving onto the top surface (11) of the base body. The guiding means of the top grooving are constructed in ramp form. The side grooving has at least one channel (24) for the carrying of water.
