<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric sliding door device for a vehicle, which ensures quick opening/closing operation of a sliding door without enlarging a driving motor. <P>SOLUTION: The driving motor 3 is a direct-current motor including a low- speed brush 32, a high-speed brush 33, and a common brush 31. A control circuit 7 sets the driving motor 3 at a low-speed mode in which the driving motor 3 can be rotated with relatively high torque at low speed, by applying current to a portion between the low-speed brush 32 and the common brush 31, while it sets the driving motor 3 at a high-speed mode in which the driving motor 3 can be rotated with low torque at high speed, by applying current to a portion between the high-speed brush 32 and the common brush 31. The control circuit 7 sets the driving motor 3 at the high-speed mode when a roller bracket is located at a linear portion of a guide rail, while it sets the driving motor 3 at the low-speed mode when the roller bracket 2 is located at a corner portion 11 of the guide rail 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
