<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface that can prevent user of a navigation system from deviating from navigation due to perplexity, an error, or an uncertain factor so as to smoothly attain a previously inputted purpose. <P>SOLUTION: The audio signal processing section 103 of the navigation system synthesizes an audio signal that cause the user to unconsciously avoid the signal so that the audio signal may be heard by the user from a direction to be avoided against natural sounds usually heard by the user. Consequently, possibility of the user following navigation is increased while consciousness of the user that its action is controlled by electronic equipment is suppressed to a low level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
