<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IR sensitive composition excellent in processability under a change of the activity of a developer (development latitude) when used in the image forming layer of a planographic printing plate precursor or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The IR sensitive composition comprises (A) a resin, (B) a novolak resin and (C) a photothermal conversion material, wherein the resin (A) is obtained by copolymerizing at least (1) a polymerizable monomer having two or more carboxylic acids and (2) at least one selected form (meth)acrylic esters, (meth)acrylamide and styrene derivatives. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
