<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL light-emitting element having a higher emission polarization ratio than conventional ones, and a liquid crystal display device obtained using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The organic EL light-emitting element comprises an organic EL light-emitting layer (3a, 3b, 3c) and electrodes (1, 4) for applying the voltage to the organic EL light-emitting layer, where the organic EL light-emitting layer contains a hyperbranched polymer layer comprising a hyperbranched polymer monoaxially oriented with an orientation degree of at least 0.95 and emits a light having a high emission polarization ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
