PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the rise of supply voltage of a non-volatile memory within an operation guarantee range even when a current flows in from the outside of electronic equipment and a printer.
SOLUTION: A reset IC 20 and a switching element 21 are interposed between a driving power terminal of an EEPROM 15 and a driving power line (Vcc) supplied from a main board 2. The reset IC 20 monitors inputted voltage and outputs a Low signal as a reset signal to a reset terminal of a CPU when the inputted voltage rises to a fixed value, and continues to output until the lapse of a fixed time after the inputted voltage reaches a prescribed value. After the lapse of the fixed time, the reset IC 20 outputs a High signal. The output of the reset IC 20 is also inputted to the switching element 21. The switching element 21 is switched off by the Low signal and switched on by the High signal. Voltage is not applied to the EEPROM 15 until the switching element 21 is switched on.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
