<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly illuminate an illuminated body while reducing the heat generation of a light source. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device is provided with an illumination light source 2 where a plurality of semiconductor light emitting elements 2b are arrayed in two dimensions and a parallelizing means 3 which parallelizes light beams emitted by each of the semiconductor light emitting elements 2b toward the illuminated body. The heat generation of the illumination light source 2 using the semiconductor light emitting elements 2b is small and the light beams emitted by each of the semiconductor light emitting elements 2b are parallelized by the parallelizing means 3 to illuminate the illuminated body to uniform illuminance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
