PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch capable of detecting the fluctuation of the angle of a movable mirror and correctly setting the angle of the movable mirror. SOLUTION: An optical switch 10 is provided with a first movable mirror array 13 having a plurality of movable mirrors 13a reflecting a plurality of luminous fluxes 11a of an incident information light in optional directions respectively, and a second movable mirror array 16 having a plurality of movable mirrors 16a reflecting a plurality of luminous fluxes 11a reflected by the first movable mirror array 13 and emitting them as a plurality of luminous fluxes. A first reference light 12 and a second reference light 19 composed of a plurality of luminous fluxes different from the information light are respectively made incident on the plurality of the movable mirrors 13a of the first movable mirror array 13 and the plurality of the movable mirrors 16a of the second movable mirror array 16, the positions of the reflected lights are detected and the positions of the respective movable mirrors 13a and 16a are controlled.
