PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when an optical filter is fixed in a device for measuring luminescence generated in a sample, its replacement and cleaning are troublesome. SOLUTION: A holder 30 is composed of a holder body 31 and a cap unit 80. The cap unit 80 is composed of a cap ring 82 and a filter member 83 held by it. The filter member 83 is composed of one or more plates 84 and 86, and at least any one of the plates exerts a light filtering action. By dismounting the holder 30 from the device, the filter member can be detached, and the filter member can be replaced and cleaned. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
