PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl 22, 26 for use with a combustor 10 of a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: The cowl 22, 26 includes an outer cowl 22 with an annular corrugation 40. A combustor 10 of the gas turbine engine includes a hollow body 11 having a liner 14, 16 and defining a combustion chamber 12, the outer cowl 22 connected to the liner 14, 16 and having the annular corrugation 40, and an inner cowl 26 connected to the liner 14, 16. A method of configuring the cowl 22, 26 for the gas turbine engine combustor 10 includes forming the annular corrugation 40 in a main body of the cowl 22, 26. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
