A synchronous reluctance motor control device includes current correction/calculation means (16) for generating a torque current instruction value following the load torque so that the output torque of the synchronous reluctance motor is always matched with the load torque. The control device may further include position/speed estimation/calculation means (13) for estimating position/speed based on the three-phase voltage equation in order to improve the control performance during voltage saturation.
