It is intended to provide a highly sensitive and highly reproducible method of assaying coenzymes A (CoA) in a biological sample characterized by involving the step of extracting the biological sample by using a strongly acidic solution, the step of solid phase extraction, the step of adding an internal standard, and the step of detecting with the use of LC-MS.
