INSERTION METHOD FOR EXISTING PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion method for an existing pipe whereby a suitable restoring property is achieved with respect to the existing pipe having a bent part, pressure loss is reduced in a straight part of the pipe, and a branch pipe can be easily fitted. SOLUTION: The piping condition of the existing pipe is confirmed, and a short corrugated pipe 10b is connected to a synthetic resin pipe 10a folded to the radial direction in order to form an insertion pipe 10. The insertion pipe 10 is inserted into the existing pipe so that the synthetic resin pipe 10a folded along the radial direction corresponds to the straight part A' of the existing pipe and the short corrugated pipe 10b corresponds to the bent part A1 of the existing pipe.
