PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a small-size paper sheet delivery mechanism capable of certainly separating and sending a great variety of paper sheets one by one without causing the overlapped feeding or non-feeding, in the paper sheet delivery mechanism delivering the paper sheets one by one by rotation of a pick roller in an abutment state of stacked bills, printer sheets or the like onto the pick roller. SOLUTION: The surface of the pick roller 31 is disposed with a plurality of sucking cells 32 in an axial direction of the pick roller 31. The sucking cell 32 comprises a sucking chamber open to the surface of the pick roller 31, a flexible film forming the inner wall face of the sucking chamber, and an actuator deforming the flexible film. When the paper sheet is delivered by the rotation of the pick roller 31, the actuator is driven, and the paper sheet is sucked by the sucking cells 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
