PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging box with a wide header which is precisely assembled, and is prevented from being defectively formed. SOLUTION: In forming this packaging box, a header 26 is formed continuously with a first flat plate (side panel 10) in a direction roughly vertically right angles to the face of a fifth flat plate (top panel 18), a protrusive piece is formed having a larger maximum width in a parallel direction with the face of the fifth flat plate (top panel 18) than the width in a parallel direction with the fifth flat plate (top panel) of the first flat plate (side panel 10), and at least one flap (inner flap 46) of first flaps (inner flaps 46, 48) formed on flat plates (side panels 14, 16) adjoining the first plate (side panel 10) is formed with notch able to form continuously a predetermined gap (gap 51 shown by a distance t) with the side of the header 26 (protrusive piece 28) when the package box 1 is extended.
