PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device with simple structure and less action loss which can bring a wiper blade into contact with a glass face to be wiped with a large curvature with an appropriate wiping angle. SOLUTION: In this wiper device in which the wiper blade 2 wipes a wiping zone between a lower reverse position PD located under a central part 1A of a glass face 1 to be wiped and an upper reversal position PU located at a side end part 1B by oscillating motion of a pivot shaft 4, an arm head 8 is twisted from the lower reversal position PD of an arm retainer 6 in the direction toward the upper reversal position PU (arrow A direction), an axis 7a of a hinge part 7 connecting the arm head 8 to the pivot shaft 4 is inclined by a predetermined angle against a base line 8k perpendicular to an axis L1 of the pivot shaft 4, the pivot shaft 4 is arranged under the side end part 1B on the glass face 1 to be wiped, and the axis L1 of the pivot shaft 4 is inclined by a predetermined angleθ2 downward against a base line L0 perpendicular to the glass face 1 to be wiped.
