<p>A panel assembly (22) for decreasing reflection of solar radiation by the exterior of a building (10), such as a white roof (12). The assembly (22) includes dark or radiation absorbent panels (6) suspended above the roof (12) or walls of a building (10) by attachment to cables (18), upright support posts (24) or other support mechanisms. A method for warming a cool roof includes covering the roof with an array of dark panels (16). Various environmental incentives and benefits may be obtained by use of the panel assembly.</p> |
