PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing toner having excellent printing quality in the initial stage, stability of the image quality for continuous printing, and cleaning stability, causing no filming on a photoreceptor, developing roller or the like, and having excellent low temperature fixing property, and to provide a developer containing the toner, a method for forming an image by using the developer, a container filled with the developer, and an image forming device installed with the container. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a toner composition containing a toner binder resin comprising a modified polyester resin (i) reactive with active hydrogen in an organic solvent, dispersing the dissolved or dispersed material in an aqueous medium containing resin fine particles while reacting with a crosslinking agent and/or extending agent, removing the solvent from the obtained dispersion liquid. The resin particles have 50 to 300 nm volume average particle size, and the toner has 1.5 to 4.0 m<SP>2</SP>/g BET specific surface area. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
