<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piano with a sound-muffling function which can suppress the production of the tones of an acoustic piano when a keyboard for chord detection is pushed. <P>SOLUTION: The piano with a sound-muffling function is provided with a keyboard sensor 17c disposed at a keyboard 17 of the acoustic piano, sound- muffling mechanisms 45a and 46a which suppress striking by pushing down of a lower keyboard 17a and an automatic accompaniment system which performs automatic accompaniment according to the chords detected in accordance with the signals from the keyboard sensor 17c disposed at the lower keyboard 17a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
