PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber collimator that can be fixed without deteriorating an alignment state, and further can be set to be in an airtight sealing state. SOLUTION: A thin section 24 at a collar section 22 is irradiated with a YAG laser or the like from a direction nearly orthogonally crossing, and a plurality of places are welded in a thickness direction from the surface of the thin section 24 to reach a collimator block 30. As a result, the optical fiber collimator 10 is fixed to the collimator block 30, and further the YAG laser is radiated over the entire circumference of the outer-periphery section at the collar section 22 to airtightly seal a portion to the surface of the collimator block 30.
