PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing tool for a plate and its attaching/detaching tool, having a simple structure at a low cost, and a high anti-theft effect. SOLUTION: A plate fixing tool 1 for fixing a number plate 2 onto a car body is formed by a screw 3, a washer 4 and a nut 11. Surface of a screw head 6 is smoothly formed without a driver groove or a recess for inserting a wrench. The screw head 6 is approximately round but slightly distorted from a complete round. The screw 3 can be fastened and unfastened using the attaching/detaching tool having a recess slightly distorted from a complete round like the screw head 6. A tool restricting part 9 is circumferentially formed on outer circumference of the washer 4 such like surrounding the screw head 6, and a tool inserting groove 10 with a small width is formed between the screw head 6 and the tool restricting part 9.
