PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate problems of a sanitary washing device controlled by a timer, i.e., damaged comfortability and degraded energy saving efficiency, the problems rising if a timer set value is not changed at every season. SOLUTION: The sanitary washing device is comprised of a memory means for storing power saving patterns of a heated toilet seat or a heat exchanger for heating hot water for washing the human private parts, and a timer function for driving the heated toilet seat or the heat exchanger according to the power saving patterns, and the sanitary washing device can select the power saving patterns. The memory means stores therein an optimal timer set value for each season, and therefore, the sanitary washing device is controlled based on the optimal timer set value for each season, whereby the comfort of the user and the optimum energy saving efficiency are achieved through simple operation of the sanitary washing device.
