<p>A cassette (1) and a method for disassembling the cassette, the cassette (1) comprising a body frame (2) having one open face for storing a recording medium and a cover frame (3) detachably installed on the body frame so as to close the open face, either of the body frame and the cover frame further comprising side wall (2b, 2c) having a lock hole (37) and a gantry frame (40) formed apart a distance from the side wall, the other of the body frame and the cover frame further comprising an arm part (42) inserted between the side wall and the gantry frame when the cover frame is installed on the body frame, the arm part further comprising a hook part (41) having a portion (41a) engageable with the lock holes and a portion (41b) engageable with an auxiliary frame; the method for removing the cover frame from the body frame comprising the steps of disposing the cassette on a support table (100), inserting a pressing device (105) into the cassette to deflect the auxiliary frame in the direction apart from the side wall, and inserting an other pressing device (104) into the lock hole to remove the arm part from the lock hole.</p> |
