<p>A device for converting wind energy into another energy at low cost and efficiently. This wind energy conversion device comprises a frame having a power take-off shaft, the power take-off shaft being held for rotation between a pair of support pillars; an electric generator connected to the power take-off shaft; at least two bearings attached to the frame, each bearing rotatably holding a rotative shaft; a wind receiving means composed of a blade shaft and a plurality of blades formed around the blade shaft; and a connecting member connected at one end thereof to the rotative shaft and at the other end to the blade shaft of the wind receiving means. When the wind hits against the wind receiving means, the latter rotates together with a connecting means around the rotative shaft, so that the turning forces around the rotative shaft from the wind receiving means and connecting means rotate the frame around the power take-off shaft, with the result that the rotation of the power take-off shaft starts the electric generator to convert wind energy into electric energy.</p> |
