<p>The invention relates to a toy car (1) comprising an upper body (2) and a chassis (3) having an inertia ball (5) trapped therebetween. When the inventive toy car (1) is pushed briefly by hand, said inertia ball rolls on the support surface (8). After the chassis (3) is pushed, the kinetic rolling energy accumulated in the inertia ball (5) is transmitted to the toy by means of one or two point contacts between the inertia ball (5) and the front edge of a polygonal opening (4) which is disposed in the chassis (3) in front of the centre of resistance of the car, said centre of resistance being defined by the resultant of the friction forces acting on the wheels (6) of the toy.</p> |
