<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an operation period for leveling according to an order-receiving situation of products relating to build-to-order production, a supply situation of components, and inventory of products. <P>SOLUTION: When an average received-order quantity for every element of products continues by exceeding a predetermined number of times (predetermined shift numbers) in the vicinity of the maximum production quantity, since a portion to be moved backward because of exceeding the maximum production quantity in an operation period is increased when the operation period is set long, and it causes a delay of production, the operation period is corrected to be shortened to decrease the portion moved backward, so that a portion varied by received orders can be newly leveled in the next operation period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
