PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a non-specific combination to a membrane in a constituent other than targets to be analyzed contained in a specimen, or a capturing reagent that is subjected to solid phase to the membrane in a flow through type inspection method. SOLUTION: A specimen floating liquid composition for flow through type inspections contains at least two kinds of compounds selected from a basic amino acid, inorganic salts, and surface-active agents in the flow through inspection method. A washing composition for the flow through type inspection method contains the basic amino acid, and further at least one kind of compound selected from a group consisting of the inorganic salts, and the surface-active agents.
