PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a spigot projection of a specified shape with ease at a specified position in the outer periphery of the spigot of a pipe. SOLUTION: This device is to form spigot projections by welding a peripheral direction single cut spigot ring 3 having an external peripheral groove 6 to the spigot 2 of the pipe 1 with the ring 3 fitted to the spigot 2 from the outside. The device has a welding torch 21 capable of welding the spigot ring 3 to the spigot 2 by supplying molten metal to the outer peripheral groove 6 of the spigot ring 3 of the pipe 1 supported so as to rotate around the shaft center, a first pressing roller 22, which is provided at a position on the rear side more than the welding torch 21 along the rotation direction of the pipe 1 and can press a part of the spigot ring 3 on this side of a position where molten metal is supplied from the welding torch 21 against the spigot 2, and a second pressing roller 23, which is provided at a position on the rear side more than the first pressing roller 22 along the rotation direction of the pipe 1 and can press a part of the spigot ring 3 against the spigot 2 at this position.
