摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift controller for a vehicular parallel shaft type transmission in which synchronization discrimination of a meshing clutch during shifting is quickly executed in the vehicular parallel shaft type transmission. SOLUTION: Since synchronization of the meshing clutch on an engagement side for achieving the shifting is discriminated by a synchronization discriminating means 120 (S1 or S5) on the basis of drastic reduction of driving force of a shift cylinder 77, namely, oil pressure Pc inside the shift cylinder 77 in a period during a shift stroke of the shift cylinder (a shift actuator) 77 which is detected by a shift stroke sensor 108 is stagnant halfway in a vehicular stepped transmission 16, the synchronization of the meshing clutch is quickly discriminated at the same time of meshing of an engaging tooth of the meshing clutch. By this, the possibility of giving a driver a sense of incongruity is greatly reduced, since free running time of the vehicle in the shifting period is suitably shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
