PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building board mounting structure enabling a building board to be easily and accurately mounted on a wall surface. SOLUTION: The building board mounting structure for mounting a building board on a wall surface is for mounting using circular rotating mounting fittings, the building board having mounting movement grooves on its right and left sides or its top and bottom sides and tongues and grooves on its top and bottom sides or right and left sides for fitting the building boards together in the vertical or horizontal direction, the building board also having fitting cutout parts in predetermined positions. Its mounting method includes attaching the circular rotating mounting fittings to a bed at predetermined intervals, fitting the fitting cutout parts of the building board over the mounting fittings from its front, moving the building board downwards or horizontally while rotating the mounting fittings within the mounting movement grooves on the right and left sides or top and bottom sides, and causing the tongues adapted for the fitting together of the top and bottom sides or right and left sides in the vertical or horizontal direction to fit into the grooves adapted for vertically or horizontally fitting the top and bottom sides or right and left sides of another building board, to mount the building board in a predetermined position.
